The Donna J. Masho Award of Excellence was created by the Board of
Directors of the NCAMSS in 1999, honoring Donna for her enormous
contributions to the profession throughout her career. Donna was a
founding member of the NCAMSS and served in various capacities. She was
always willing to share her knowledge and network with anyone who
contacted her for assistance.
The nominations for the award are made by members of the NCAMSS. The award
is presented at the annual NCAMSS conference to recognize a member of the
NCAMSS who exhibits excellence in the profession, contributes to the
NCAMSS, and to their fellow medical staff service professionals.
The Donna J. Masho Award of Excellence consists of a plaque with the
recipient's name inscribed on it and a free registration fee for the
annual meeting (for the coming year).
This
year's recipient of the Donna J. Masho Award of Excellence is Deborah
Chapman, CPMSM, CPCS. Deborah previously worked with the Veterans Health
Administration for more than 20 years before she recently retired. She
is presently an independent Medical Staff Services Consultant.
Congratulations Deborah!
