Velvet has worked in healthcare for over 13 years, 8 of which she has worked as Medical Staff Coordinator at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory, NC. In December 2006 she also began working as a provider liaison between Payor Credentialing and Hospital Managed Care Divisions. She has served as Secretary, Treasurer, and is the Immediate Past President of NCAMSS. She is currently serving NCAMSS in the new position of Historian. Velvet is a current member of NAMSS and currently holds both NAMSS CPCS, and Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM) certifications.
 

Tammy has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with an emphasis on Medical Staff Services for the past ten years. She is a current member of the NAMSS and the Triangle Chapter of NCAMSS. She served as the Treasurer of NCAMSS from 2004-2006. Tammy is currently employed as the Corporate Director, Medical Staff Administration, with The Schumacher Group in Lafayette, LA, but works from home office in Leasburg, NC. She previously worked as the Vice President of Credentialing/Enrollment for Phoenix Physicians, LLC based in Durham, NC. She currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.
 

Rhonda has worked in health care for 25 years, more than 14 years of which have been in Medical Staff Services. She has worked at Maria Parham Medical Center since 1994. She is currently the Medical Staff Services Director at Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, NC. She is also a current member of NAMSS.

Fran has worked in the healthcare industry for approximately 30 years. The first eleven years of her career were spent in a community based health clinic as Operations Manager. Her experience in Medical Staff Services began at Meriden-Wallingford Hospital in Connecticut, prior to her move to North Carolina in 1996. She recently served as the Chairman of the NCAMSS Door Prize Committee. She is a current member of NAMSS. Fran is currently the Medical Staff Coordinator, with NAMSS CPCS certification, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, North Carolina.
 

Geraldine has worked in the Health Care Industry for over 20 years, and 8 years has been in the Medical Staff Office at High Point Regional Healthcare System in High Point, NC. She is currently the Credentials Specialist at High Point Regional Health System, High Point, NC. Geraldine is a current member of NAMSS and currently holds a BS/BA Degree and NAMSS CPCS certification.
 

Regina has worked in healthcare for ten years, starting as the administrative assistant to the CEO for two years before moving to Credentialing Coordinator in Medical Staff Services at Wilkes Regional Medical Center, in N. Wilkesboro, NC. She is a current member of NAMSS.

Janice has worked in the healthcare industry for over 32 years. She is currently employed as the Medical Staff Coordinator at Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville, NC. She is a member of NAMSS and is a former member of the NCAMSS Board of Directors serving from 1998-2000 as Treasurer and Membership Chairman. She currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.
 

Linda has worked in the healthcare industry since 1989. She has 17 years of experience and has worked as a Credentialing Specialist for Baptist Hospital in Nashville, TN, 1989-1991, before beginning her career in NC with Raleigh Community Hospital from 1991-1997. She also worked with the NC Division of Columbia as the Director of Centralized Verification Office from February 1997 – March 1998, and is presently the Manager of Medical Staff Services with Duke Health Raleigh Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She served as Secretary of NCAMSS from 1997-1998, and various positions with the Triangle Chapter of NCAMSS since 1993, and is currently serving as the Secretary/Treasurer. She is also a member of NAMSS and currently holds both NAMSS CMPSM and CPCS certifications.
 

Sheila has worked in the healthcare industry since 1988. She has worked as Director of Credentialing Services for Scott Medical Group, a Credentialing Supervisor with BCBS of NC, and the Credentialing Coordinator with Durham, Regional Hospital in Durham, NC. She is currently the Assistant to the Program Coordinator in the Office of Residency Education & Special Projects at Duke University Eye Center in Durham, NC. She is a current member of NAMSS and the Triangle Chapter of NCAMSS. She has served previously as President (2003) and Secretary Treasurer (2001) of the Triangle Chapter of NCAMSS. She currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.
 

Indi has worked in the healthcare industry since 1990.  She began her career at Mount Sinai
Medical Center in New York, and relocated to Raleigh, NC in December 1996.  She worked
at ReXMeD, LLC, a Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) from 1997-2000 as the
Credentialing and Network Services Coordinator.  In 2000, she joined WellPath Select, Inc. (a
Coventry Health Care Plan) as Credentialing Analyst.  She continues to work at WellPath and
is responsible for overseeing internal credentialing, as well as all delegated credentialing arrangements.  She has served as Secretary/Treasurer and President-Elect of the Triangle Chapter of NCAMSS in Raleigh, and is currently serving as President. She is also a current member of NAMSS. She earned a BA Degree from Hunter College in New York, and currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.
