Tammy Davis, CPCS, CPMSM
President

Tammy has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry with an emphasis on Medical Staff Services for the past 12 years. She is a current member of NAMSS. She served as the Treasurer of NCAMSS from 2004-2006, Program Chairman, President-Elect from 2007-2008 and was the Donna Masho Award Recipient in 2008. Tammy is currently employed as the Corporate Director, Medical Staff Administration with Schumacher Group. She currently holds dual certification, CPCS and CPMSM, from NAMSS.
   
Anne Ennis, CPCS
Historian, Past-President

Anne has over 19 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She is currently employed as the Credentialing Specialist for the Cape Fear Valley Health System, in Fayetteville, NC. She is a member of the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) and Triangle Chapter of the NC Association of Medical Staff Services (NCAMSS). She served as the 2005-2006 NCAMSS Program Chairman, and was the recipient of the NCAMSS 2006 Donna Masho Award of Excellence. She currently holds NAMSS certification as a Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS).
 


 

 

Fran Fallon, CPCS, CPMSM
Program Chairman, President-Elect

Fran has worked in the healthcare industry throughout her entire career. She started in a small community based health clinic doing everything from front desk work to third party reimbursement and managing operations. Her experience in Medical Staff Services began in the early 1980’s in Connecticut and continued when she relocated to North Carolina in 1996 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Fran is a member of the NAMSS and has attained her CPCS and CPMSM certifications. Recently, Fran moved to a management position in the Medical Staff Office of Novant’s Presbyterian HealthCare, Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

 

Malia Marion, CPCS 
Treasurer

 
Malia has worked in the healthcare industry since 1993 for Novant Health. She served ten years as Manager of Medical Staff Services for Novant Health’s Triad Market in Winston Salem, NC and in late 2008 transferred to work with Novant’s Coastal Market in Supply, NC. where she is presently the Manager of Medical Staff Services for Brunswick Community Hospital. She is a member of NAMSS and currently holds NAMSS CPCS certification.

   

Rhonda Boyd, CPCS
Secretary

Rhonda has worked in health care for 25 years, more than 14 years of which have been in Medical Staff Services. She is a Program Analyst for the Department of Veteran Affairs. Rhonda holds an Associate Degree in Medical Secretarial Science and NAMSS CPCS Certification.

Geraldine Mulcahy, CPCS
Member-at-Large

Geraldine has worked in the Health Care Industry for over 20 years, and 11 years has been in the Medical Staff Office at High Point Regional Healthcare System in High Point, NC. She is currently the Credentials Specialist at High Point Regional Health System, High Point, NC. Geraldine is a current member of NAMSS and currently holds a BS/BA Degree and NAMSS CPCS certification.
   

 

 

Deborah Chapman, CPCS, CPMSM
Member-at-Large

Deborah is a Program Analyst for the Department of Veteran Affairs. She responsible for the Administrative oversight of Credentialing and Privileging for the VA system. Deborah is a current member of NCAMSS and NAMSS and holds both NAMSS CMPSM and CPCS certifications. In 2008, Deborah was the Certification Preparation Chair Person on behalf of NCAMSS for its CPCS and CPMSM applicants.
   
   

June Hogg, CPMSM, CPCS
Member-at-Large

June is the Manager of Medical Staff Services at Wake Med Health & Hospitals in Raleigh, NC. In addition to her duties as Member-at-large with NCAMSS, she presently serves at the National level on the NAMSS Board as a Director at Large and is a member of the NAMSS Certification Commission Council. She currently holds both NAMSS CMPSM and CPCS certifications.
 
   
    Cheryl Knight, CPCS
Member-at-Large

 
Cheryl has worked in the healthcare industry since 1996 for Davis Regional Medical Center. She started her career with Davis Regional in November 1996 as an ER Registration Supervisor, transitioned into the Business Office in March 1999 as the Assistant Business Office Director and later accepted the role as Medical Staff Coordinator in 2000. She is responsible for the maintaining coordination, accuracy, and integrity of the credentialing process for physicians and licensed allied health professionals practicing at DRMC. Cheryl served as the Divisional Medical Staff Coordinator for Health Management Associates from 2007 through 2009. She currently holds NAMSS CPCS Certification.

 
   
 

Donna Phillips
Member-at-Large
President, Triangle Chapter, NCAMSS

Donna has over 28 years of experience in the healthcare industry with an emphasis on Medical Staff Services for the past 15 years. Donna began her career at WakeMed Health and Hospitals and served as Medical Staff Coordinator at the Raleigh Campus until April, 2009. Donna is currently employed with Johnston Health as Manager of the Medical Staff Office at Johnston Medical Center in Smithfield. She is a member of NAMSS and the Triangle Chapter of the NC Association of Medical Staff Services where she has served as President Elect and is currently serving as President. She currently holds NAMSS CPMSM certification.
